Intro to part 5 and Chapter 16 part 1

In the beginning part of chapter 16 I learned about some different revolutions have have happened all over the world. I also learned the way that some of the revolutions then went on to inspire and encourage other revolutions that have occurred throughout history. In the North American Revolution I learned the date in which it actually started which was in 1756 and the date in which it ended which was in 1783. The whole reason that this revolution took place was because of the 13 colonies. The revolution was for the 13 colonies to claim their independence from Britain. The 13 colonies were not happy with Britain. They were unhappy with them because Britain was putting heavy taxes on the people that were living in the colonies. In return this pressure and inconvenience from Britain lead the 13 colonies to "revolt" in a sort of way to stand up for themselves in order to gain more freedom and to acquire more of a democratic state. Because of this revolution guerrilla warfare was introduced   which is what makes this revolution so important and relevant to where we stand today. The French Revolution was another one of these inspiring revolutions. The French Revolution took place in 1789 and did not end until 10 years later in 1799. This revolution all started because of a discussion between the King of France and 3 other people from different social economic classes when he needed their assistance. During there discussion it came about that everyone was equal regardless of there social class. Quite quickly after the peasant people in France started to revolt by killing everyone else that disagreed with their new proclamation. I found this next part from the reading to be astonishing, that the peasants that were revolting exceeded to the level of actually killing the King and Queen. This in turn resulted in even more change which was becoming a republic state. Also allowing the "lower class-men" to be a lot more involved. Another thing that occurred as a result of this revolution was the creation of a new calendar and the improvement on their army which included people from all different social economic classes. Lastly the Latin America Revolution. The reasoning for the start of this revolution was due to once again heavy tariffs and taxes that were put on these people of Latin America. In the end this revolution did not end with the same result as the others. This revolution ended with Latin America becoming malnourished and extremely dependent upon foreigners.
